Steady Power Wire Art
Steady Power Wire Art is an art installation created for a company anniversary exhibition. The installation uses copper wires supplied by an electric wire and cable manufacturer to outline a large tree that symbolizes the company. Five scenes of daily life extend from the tree: a porridge stall, a dining table, a train, a temple, and a beacon. Changing lighting and audio narration accompany the wire forms, while shadows of the wires fall on the walls and the ceiling. The work covers 281 square meters and shows how electricity supports ordinary daily life.
Steady Power Wire Art Exhibition by Ocean Liang has been highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Steady Power Wire Art Exhibition won the Bronze A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2022.
