Terms and Conditions

Design Cult Terms and Conditions set the rules for using designcult.net. Using Design Cult means agreeing to the rules below, so please read every section carefully before you continue. Kindly note that these terms cover the use of our website, while additional terms may apply during newsletter subscription or sign-up, and separate terms apply if you decide to submit a design to us.

1. Your Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions

Design Cult Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Design Cult, available at https://designcult.net, and of all pages, features and content of designcult.net. By accessing or using Design Cult, you confirm that you have carefully read, understood and agreed to be bound by Design Cult Terms and Conditions, the Design Cult Privacy Policy and the Design Cult Cookies Policy. Please continue to use Design Cult only if you agree. The publisher of Design Cult is identified in the Design Cult Impressum.

2. Content Is for Entertainment and Information Only

Design Cult publishes features about fine art and digital installations and more. Everything published on Design Cult, including articles, descriptions, images, rankings, daily features, quotes, links and advertisements, is provided for entertainment, educational and general information purposes only. For professional, legal, financial, purchasing, investment, design or art valuation advice, please consult a qualified and licensed professional, because content on Design Cult is general information and carries no offer, endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of any product, service, person or company. Design Cult is an independent editorial publication, so to purchase featured fine art and digital installations designs, products or projects, please contact the respective designers, brands or rights holders. You alone are responsible for any decision you take on the basis of content published on Design Cult.

3. Provided As Is, Where Is and As Available

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Design Cult and all content published on designcult.net are provided on an AS IS, WHERE IS and AS AVAILABLE basis, with all faults, and without warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including but not limited to any warranty of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that designcult.net will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. Design Cult does not warrant the accuracy, completeness or reliability of information supplied by designers, brands, advertisers or other third parties.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law and regulations, Design Cult, the publisher of Design Cult and the owners, operators, editors, contributors, licensors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and service providers of Design Cult shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with the access to or use of, or the inability to use, Design Cult, or reliance on any content published on designcult.net, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in Design Cult Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

5. Full Indemnity

You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold harmless Design Cult, the publisher of Design Cult and the owners, operators, editors, contributors, licensors, partners, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates and service providers of Design Cult from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, settlements, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal and attorney fees, arising out of or related to (a) your use or misuse of Design Cult, (b) your breach of Design Cult Terms and Conditions, (c) your violation of any law or of any right of a third party, including intellectual property and privacy rights, and (d) any information you provide through Design Cult or to the third-party services reached through Design Cult. The obligation to indemnify survives any end of your use of Design Cult.

6. Intellectual Property

Featured works. The fine art and digital installations designs, products, projects, photographs, renderings, descriptions, names, logos and trademarks featured on Design Cult belong to the original creators, designers, brands and license holders of each work, who keep all rights to their intellectual properties. Each work is shown on Design Cult for editorial purposes, and the presentation of a work on Design Cult leaves every right with the respective owners.

Original materials of Design Cult. Except for third-party works, the original texts, the selection and arrangement of content and the layout of Design Cult are protected by copyright and are © 2008 – 2026 Design Cult. You are welcome to read Design Cult and to share links to pages of designcult.net for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please obtain prior and explicit written permission from the publisher of Design Cult, and from the relevant rights holders for featured works, before copying, reproducing, scraping, harvesting, mirroring, framing, republishing, selling or otherwise exploiting content of designcult.net, except where the law expressly allows.

Notice to rights holders. If you are a creator or rights holder and believe that a feature on Design Cult infringes an intellectual property right, or gives incorrect credit, you can send a notice through the Design Cult Contact page, indicating the address of the page, identifying the work and your rights in the work, and providing a way to reach you. Design Cult reviews every notice promptly and, where appropriate, corrects or removes the content.

7. Third-Party Websites, Services and Advertising

Design Cult contains links to, and content from, third parties, including the A' Design Award & Competition, Designers.org, the Design Encyclopedia and other partner and affiliated websites. Third-party websites are operated independently of Design Cult, so their content, availability, terms and privacy practices remain solely the responsibility of the respective third party. You access third-party websites at your own risk and subject to the terms of the respective third party.

Advertising shown on Design Cult is delivered by Massive Outreach Ads Network, the privacy-first advertising solution provider of Design Cult. Advertisements are supplied by third parties, and each advertised product, service or advertiser remains solely the responsibility of the respective advertiser. Any dealings between you and an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

8. Forms and Forwarding to Third-Party Services

Some features of Design Cult, such as the Design Cult Submit Design page, the Design Cult Newsletter page and the Design Cult Encyclopedia page, work in two steps. You provide a few details on designcult.net and may then be forwarded to a partner service that carries out the actual service. The partner service, and not Design Cult, is responsible for processing your information and for everything that happens after the forwarding, under the terms and the privacy policy of that service. You also agree to provide accurate information and to enter only information that belongs to you or that you are authorized to share.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Design Cult for lawful purposes, to access designcult.net through ordinary browsing and search engine indexing rather than through robots, crawlers, scrapers or other automated means, to respect the security and availability of designcult.net, its servers and its networks, to provide truthful information through the forms of Design Cult, and to keep every credit, copyright and other notice intact.

10. Availability and Changes

The publisher of Design Cult may change, suspend or discontinue Design Cult, or any content or feature of Design Cult, at any time, for any reason and without notice or liability. Design Cult Terms and Conditions may also be updated from time to time, and the date shown at the bottom of this page indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of Design Cult after a revision means that you accept the revised Design Cult Terms and Conditions.

11. Governing Law

Design Cult Terms and Conditions, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with Design Cult, are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the publisher of Design Cult identified in the Design Cult Impressum, without regard to conflict of law principles, and the competent courts of that jurisdiction have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.

12. General Provisions

If any provision of Design Cult Terms and Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. A delay in enforcing any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. Design Cult Terms and Conditions, together with the Design Cult Privacy Policy and the Design Cult Cookies Policy, form the entire agreement regarding the use of Design Cult.

13. Contact

If you have questions about Design Cult Terms and Conditions, please use the Design Cult Contact page or the Design Cult Impressum.
